Elemental Living Community Retreat

Spring 2018

Thank you to the lovely participants of the first ELCR! I am beyond grateful for such a beautiful event and am thrilled to announce the next retreat coming Spring 2018!

If you missed the first one, don't worry! You can catch a recap here

In this full-day experience, you’ll explore your natural energy and vitality through elemental yoga therapy, guided pranayama, silent walk/hike meditation, community and R&R—all on a beautiful two-story boat house at the lake with quite a view!

My favorite part of the retreat experience was the hike and learning about elemental living!
— Heidi

Elemental living is the root that grounds us and gives us the ability to be rich, spiritual beings.

It’s about knowing you’re worthy, embracing tools like self-study and self-inquiry, and relying on food, meditation, mindfulness, and seasonal living for daily nourishment.

During this retreat, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of what it means to live in accordance with the AIR element through yoga, supportive foods, discussion about common emotional imbalances, and connecting with the fresh air around you.

* SURRENDER * CHOICES * ADAPTABILITY *

Learn to embrace the feelings of fall and create sacred space anywhere you are, both physically and mentally. This helps create the mentality that you’re worth the effort. Because you are.

As a result of the retreat experience, I came back into work and life with greater perspective and a sense of calm and presence.

As a result of the retreat, I am once again reminded of the breath and the power of the outdoors.

My favorite part of the retreat was learning about the Elemental Yoga!
— Amelia
Because of the retreat, I have definitely made more proactive attempts to connect to others, both in the yoga community and in my day-to-day life. I’ve also incorporated some of the Earth element themes into my meditation practice.
— Kellyn
My favorite two parts (of the retreat) were:
1) the movement piece. I love the elemental flows you put together; they make my body and mind feel so good.

And

2) the conversation. I knew anyone you brought together would be safe, and I loved hearing each person open up and then be supported (me included). Everyone instantly felt like a comfortable person to be around and the group dynamic was excellent.

Can’t wait for the next one!
